Info on BESS Events

Educational Meetings are generally held the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month, starting at 7:30 pm. They cover a wide range of topics related to BDSM, from play techniques to lifestyle issues and more. Prior to each meeting, an orientation for those new to BDSM or new to BESS begins at 6:45 pm. These meetings occur at the Ramada BWI Airport Arundel Mills and are open to all who wish to attend; there is a small fee for each meeting.

BESS Socials are held approximately once every 2 months, on Saturday nights starting at 9 pm, and are our chance to party. They are lively play parties with fetishwear, food, and fantastic opportunities to play! Socials are open to all BESS contributors, reciprocal group members, and their guests. RSVPs are required and there is a fee for attending.

BESS Workshops are held in conjunction with the socials, starting at 7 pm. Each workshop offers the opportunity for hands-on training in a specific BDSM technique.

Charm City Fetish Fair is our annual event, held in the spring. It includes a full day of educational classes, a vendor hall, and a play party, as well as other exciting special events, such as a fashion show and Friday night mixer. Special Interest Groups, known as SIGs, are groups with distinctive areas of interest, such as the power exchange SIG and the submissives/slaves SIG. Each SIG holds its own meetings, generally once a month.
