Events

BESS hosts a variety of events throughout the year. All events are shown on the calendar, which in addition to showing when and where events are held, includes descriptions of events, contacts, and background on presenters.

Educational Meetings are held on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday evenings of each month and generally start at 7:30 pm. They cover a wide range of topics related to BDSM, from play techniques to lifestyle issues and more. Everyone is encouraged to submit ideas for presentation topics and for those interested, to volunteer to present a topic. Prior to each presentation, an orientation for those new to BDSM or new to BESS is held which begins at 7:00 pm.

Socials are held once a month and are our chance to party. They are lively play parties with fetishwear, food, and fantastic opportunities to play!

Business Meetings are held once a month and generally start at 6:30 pm. This is where organizational issues are handled, events are planned, and in general, all the business of keeping BESS a wonderfully exciting organization is managed. Business meetings are free of charge and everyone is encouraged to attend.

Other events sponsored by the BESS SIGs, such as Gaming Day with the Mix & Mingle SIG and Happy Hour with the TNG SIG, also appear on the calendar. And of course, BESS' once a year blow-out event, Bound by Love, is listed.
