Mummification With: Blackthorne
Have you ever wanted to have your partner completely helpless? Maybe you want your lover at your mercy, and make sure they felt nothing except the sensations you provide. Perhaps you just want them to feel like an object of and for pleasure or pain, or a combination of any of the above without any chance of escape. Mummification provides a path. Some enjoy it for the feeling of constriction, some for the constant embrace, some for the helplessness and complete control, even to the point of life or death. There are many aspects that make mummification appealing. Different sensations from different materials, limited access and total helplessness can be fun, exciting and sexy to experiment with. Let's look at how to do it safely. We'll talk about some of the safety aspects to consider before, during and after a good mummification, some things to use to mummify someone, some things to do with your mummy, and some ways to enjoy having a mummy around even when it's not Halloween (and even when it is Halloween, if you're adventurous, creative and safety conscious).
Blackthorne: Blackthorne is a switch and has been in the public scene for many years enjoying various aspects of the sensual, sadistic, playful and serious sides of play. He does so always with the goal of making play hot, fun, safer and more exciting. He is always seeking to learn and share the ins and outs of pleasure and pain with his friends, lovers, acquaintences, colleagues and mentors. His involvement in the public scene has afforded him the opportunity to attend, staff and teach at events and venues such as the Black Rose convention, Black Rose educational meetings, BESS, The Playhouse, The Crucible, TESFest, Floating World and Erotic Haven. He is a staff member for The Crucible and emphasizes community and kinship whenever possible. His interest in mummification began in his early adolescent years of exploration in self-pleasure. He is always learning and shares his knowledge and experience gladly in an effort to help those interested make their play hot, fun and as risk-aware as possible in an effort to improve and enrich the community he calls home and family.
Time: 7:30 to 9:00 pm.
Cost: $5 for Contributors and Reciprocal Groups, $10 for everyone else.
Welcome Meeting: 7pm. - Free of charge.

Topic: Corset Coursette With: Marilee
An overview of an intriguing article of underwear. Corsets have an appeal all their own, equal parts Victorian purity and merry widow naughtiness, with a dash of bondage and discipline thrown in. This class will touch on the history and mystique of the corset, both as a functional, fashionable garment and as a fetish. We'll talk about the most common myths of corset history and culture, including the "iron maiden" corsets and figure-training academies. You will learn the anatomy of a corset and how it should fit for the most comfortable, flattering fit (yes, it should be comfortable!). You will have the chance to examine the most common types of construction materials and boning for corsets and see corsets from Marilee's collection of corsets she has made, bought or comissioned. For those whose eyes glaze over at the technical details, there will be plenty of beautiful corset books and photos to admire.
If you have specific topics you would like covered, please feel free to email them ahead of time to [email protected]. If you would like to share a particular corset or question about one, please bring it to class.
Marilee: Marilee is one kinky costumer, whose lifelong love of dressing up lead her to making her own costumes early on. She brings an in-depth knowledge of historical clothing construction and a love of beautiful and sexy costumes to this topic. Marilee is persuaded that S&M; really does mean "stand & model," and has found that the skills she acquired sewing historical recreation garments have translated beautifully into making her own fetishwear.
Time: 7:30 to 9:00 pm.
Cost: $5 for Contributors and Reciprocal Groups, $10 for everyone else.
Welcome Meeting: 7pm. - Free of charge.
