Wednesday Aug, 1st	BESS Orientation Meeting Orientation meetings ensure that you understand the basic ethical values of the Baltimore BDSM community. They also provide information about BESS and gives you an opportunity to ask any questions that you might have. The orientations are held at the same location as the BESS meetings and there is no need to reserve in advance. Wednesday Aug, 1st	Topic: Leather 101: An Introduction to the Leather Community, Panel Discussion Panelists: Toni Solenne, Mid-Atlantic Leather Woman 2012, Sir Hooker, boy john (Mid Atlantic Leather boy) Sir Andy (tentative) (Mr Southeast Conference of Clubs Leather) Old Guard, New Leather, earning leather, bootblacking-what�s it all about? This panel discussion is an introductory look at the leather subculture within the larger kink community. Leather has a long history, traditions, values, and protocols. By looking at important pieces of leather, we will tell tales of our leather ancestors� spirit, hotness, and traditions. Toni Solenne: Toni Solenne, Mid-Atlantic Leather Woman 2012, has been kinky for a few decades, but recently discovered her path to Mastery three years ago. She is an enthusiastic member of Females Investigating Sexual Terrain (FIST), MTTA Master Academy Alumni, MAsT Allentown, Laurel, Baltimore and Philadelphia Chapters, NCSF, Women in Leather International, and the Leather Heart Foundation. Toni is the director of the MAsT Allentown chapter and co-coordinator of the Lehigh Valley Lesbian munch group. Regionally, she facilitates spiritual retreats for leather women, is coordinator of FIST, and is co-director of MAsT Laurel-Women. Master Toni presents throughout the Mid-Atlantic area in an effort to give back to the Leather, Women�s and M/s communities that she feels has given her so much. Time:  7:30 to 9:00 pm. Wednesday Aug, 15th	Topic: Expressing Your Needs With: Nina Love Taking care of your relationships by taking care of yourself This communication skills seminar takes a realistic and practical look at the cycle of self-care in non-monogamous relationships. We will explore concepts such as jealousy, codependence, selfishness, and self-love. Through this exploration we will identify misconceptions about self-care and apply tools for identifying and communicating our needs and wants. Walk away with the practical tools and tips for communicating our needs to our partners and developing a cycle of mutually beneficial self-love. Nina Love: Nina has a diverse background in Fashion, Self Expression, & Communication. Her journey has taken her out of the corporate world of Organizational Development & Workplace Communication into the realm of Fetish Fashion. Nina owned & operated PowerXchange by Nina, Baltimore's Alternative Clothing Boutique, for three years before moving to Florida to expand her love of fashion to include costume design & styling. She is blessed to be self employed and enjoys traveling throughout the US presenting on a variety of topics including fashion, self expression & communication skills; creating one of a kind costumes for her favorite kinksters, and costume & styling management for stage productions, fashion shows, & special events. Wednesday Aug, 29th	BESS 5th Wednesday Social Iced Cream Social! The BESS 5th Wednesday socials are kicking off with some old-fashioned fun. Come down to the park and enjoy tasty frozen treats with fabulous kinky people. Build your own sundae! We will have iced cream and toppings, the sky's the limit.
