Wednesday Dec, 7th	BESS Orientation Meeting Orientation meetings ensure that you understand the basic ethical values of the Baltimore BDSM community. They also provide information about BESS and gives you an opportunity to ask any questions that you might have. The orientations are held at the same location as the BESS meetings and there is no need to reserve in advance. Just be sure to arrive promptly at 6:45pm and inform the BESS staff that you wish to attend an orientation. Time:  6:45pm to 7:15pm. Cost:  Free of charge Click for directions or a map. Wednesday Dec, 7th	Topic: Why Rope? With: Hammer & Roxy Why rope? Rope experiences and the motivations of the players You've seen all the internet pictures ranging from a wiggle-murph to a single-ankle inverted suspension to the ecstatic person straining against bonds that fix them to the headboard. Rope is a very powerful tool that is an element in many types of BDSM play, many of which go beyond a single image. We will talk about a variety of the games people play with rope, and delve into the reasons those games appeal to the players, whether sadistic/masochistic or sensual. This is a hands-on class where everybody gets a chance to explore the games that appeal to them. Bring some rope. Hammer & Roxy: Hammer and Roxy are a married D/s couple whose play focuses on japanese inspired rope connection, light impact, fetish fashion, and generally perverted behavior. They are experienced players who have been a part of the Washington/Baltimore public scene since 2009, and have taught rope in a variety of venues including Black Rose, Bondage Club Baltimore, and the internationally recognized Shibaricon conference. Shuckers is located at the end of the Broadway pier across from Maggie Moos.
