This SIG is for those who want to really roll up their sleeves and learn all the ins and outs of advanced BDSM. The first thing to remember is that even though Edge Play is advanced, there is far more to Advanced BDSM than just Edge Play. That said...

Are you ready to roll up you sleeves and get to work on mastering the skills that it takes to get there? There's a lot to learn. There are physical, mental, emotional and intellectual topics, concepts and skills... and it's a well rounded understanding and mastery of them all that makes the advanced practitioners among us stand out in a crowd.

You've had all the 101 level classes and workshops, now there's an organized curriculum to help take you further. One that gives you a clear path to follow in order to master the more complicated and technical subjects in a logical order that builds each new set of skills on the foundations of those that come before.

This Advanced / Edge Play Training SIG is not anything like your typical discussion SIG. Instead, there are clear sets of topics to learn and skills to master, organized into 15 levels of ever increasing complexity. The goal of this SIG is to provide a clear and understandable path of learning for those who are willing to put in the effort required to become a competent, safe and highly skilled practitioner of advanced forms of BDSM play including, but not limited to, Edge Play.

There was a t-shirt that said: "So you wanna be a hero..." and showed one guy with a sword challanging a dragon the size of a subway train.

Please note the Advanced / Edge Play Training SIG is not for the purpose of open play. There is an orientation and release form required for this SIG. The AEP is open to anyone over the age of 21, BESS membership is not required but is encouraged.
