Joining BESS

We invite you to join BESS by becoming a BESS contributor. Being a Contributor of BESS has its Benefits! As a BESS Contributor you will be able to attend our educational events, social events, workshops and parties that are designated for Contributors only and so much more! (See BESS Membership )

In order to become a contributor you must:

• Verify that you are at least 21 years of age via photo ID
• Attend an orientation session
• Complete a BESS Contributor Application (PDF)
• Pay the annual contributorship fee

You can give your completed application, contributorship fee and show your government-issued ID to any member of the Contributors Team or any other Team leader. There is staff on hand at Educational Meetings to recieve applications and give Orientations. Blank forms will be on hand as well. Orientations are given before Educational Meetings starting at 6:45 P.M.

Contributorship fees are currently $25 if paid August 1st to April 30th and $15 if paid May 1st to July 31st. Contributorships paid for in August or September do not expire until the following year's September 30th. The expiration date is located on the bottom left hand corner of the BESS contributor card. Contributorship fees can be paid in cash or check made out to "BESS".
